Video Interaction Guidance™

Video Interaction Guidance™ is an intervention through which a practitioner uses video clips of authentic situations to enhance communication within relationships. It works by engaging clients actively in a process of change towards realizing their own hopes for a better future in their relationships with others who are important to them. Training in VIG is carried out by registered supervisors.

It is increasingly being used in the Family Court to assess a parent’s ability to engage and make changes to their parenting. Our associate, Ms Monika Celebi, is an experienced Video Interaction Guidance™ practitioner and trainer who, as well as providing the intervention, can produce reports for the Court.
