Biography
After I trained as a doctor in Antwerp, I moved to Dublin to pursue specialist training in psychiatry. I gained considerable experience in the treatment of severe and enduring mental illness, eating disorders and substance misuse, both in a private and a public setting.

After a lecturing job in psychiatry at University College Dublin, I moved to Oxford in 2005 to obtain dual training in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry on the Oxford Training Scheme. As a Specialist Registrar I worked in an Assertive Outreach Team, a Rehabilitation Service, an Adult Community Mental Health Team and two Teams for Older Adults. I am fully trained as an Adult Psychiatrist and in the Psychiatry of Old Age.

I have done a number of reports in criminal proceedings and have given evidence in the Crown Court.
