Biography
I trained as a doctor at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. I completed my specialist psychiatric training between 2000 and 2005 (please refer to the detailed CV).

I have additionally trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Clinic of Psychiatry in Krakow and I have experience with individual, family and group therapy.

I also have out of mental health services experience; whilst at the professional business training centre in Krakow, I was responsible for delivering skills training* programmes for corporations (*e.g. developing team working, interpersonal, motivation and assertiveness skills training).

I came to the UK in 2006 and worked in various public and private settings, including inpatient and community mental health. I gained experience in several fields including general adult psychiatry, substance misuse and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Between 2008 and 2011 I worked in a Community Acute Service (Acute Day Hospital and Crisis/Home Treatment Team) and Assertive Outreach Team. Whilst there, I acquired substantial expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of severe mental illness, substance misuse and personality disorder.

Since this time I have worked in community mental health teams. keep up to date in psychiatry through Continuing Professional Development.
