Areas of expertise
I specialise in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of individuals affected by head injury, stroke, and neurological disease. This includes expertise in cognitive assessment and mental health assessment, particularly when symptoms present simultaneously. My area of special interest is mild head injury and post concussive symptoms; areas in which I am published. I am experienced in writing medico-legal reports for the court, largely concerning the extent of neuropsychological injury in relation to a sustained head injury. I have additional training from Bond Solon as an expert witness.
I trained as Clinical Psychologist at the University of Oxford and a further MSc in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at the University of Birmingham. I have worked within the area of clinical neuropsychology, within the NHS and independently, since 2008. I am currently a Principal Clinical Psychologist with the Department of Neuropsychology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. I have worked across the acute (Charing Cross Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, Oxford Centre for Enablement) and community settings (Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster community neuro-rehabilitation services), and within diagnostic cognitive clinics alongside neurology.
