Prior to training in Psychology I joined a management training scheme with Unilever and stayed within marketing for several years. I returned to University to study psychology in 1997 and worked in Business Psychology and Research prior to Clinical Psychology training.
I trained as a Clinical Psychologist at Oxford University and have worked in the NHS in a variety of different settings (including inpatient units, rehab units and community teams) and Trusts since 2003. As with any Clinical Psychology training, it involved working with people across all ages and utilising a variety of therapeutic approaches. I have a great deal of experience of conducting assessments, producing formulations and undertaking interventions for a wide range of mental health conditions with adults aged 18 years and over. I set up my own clinical practice in 2014. I regularly attend training in different approaches to ensure my skills are exemplary and have completed ‘Excellence in Report Writing for Expert Witnesses’ through Bond Solon.
